Ethereum-specific products recorded $315 million in inflows for the week, according to CoinMarketCap, while XRP suffered its second consecutive week of outflows totaling $76 million. Solana saw $9.1 million in inflows, reflecting more modest but positive sentiment.

The divergence between strong ETF inflows and declining spot prices highlights the complexity of current market dynamics. Institutional accumulation through ETFs may be absorbing selling pressure from retail and speculative accounts, creating a technical setup where prices drift lower despite positive net demand. CoinDesk noted that the current environment represents the strongest crypto rally in months, with Bitcoin and ether bears facing significant losses amid what analysts described as a "squeeze-led" rally earlier in the week.

On the regulatory front, CoinMarketCap reported that President Donald Trump urged Congress to pass a "fair" CLARITY Act, while the SEC proposed new crypto offering exemptions. The regulatory developments suggest incremental progress toward a clearer framework, though no immediate market impact was evident. Separately, CoinMarketCap noted that Fidelity has filed to add staking to its spot Ethereum ETF, potentially allowing the Fidelity Ethereum Fund to stake its holdings worth approximately $880 million—a development that could enhance yields for institutional Ethereum investors if approved.
